About Kevin
I am a Ph.D. student in Business at the University of Texas-Pan American and a part-time freelance photographer, specializing in nature photography, as well as studio portraiture and corporate/sporting events.
My nature portfolio consists of mammals, birds, insects & arachnids, reptiles & amphibians, landscapes, plant life, etc. and consists of award-winning photogaphs published in: "Visions of South Texas: Beyond the Ranch Gate", and "Nature Exposed: Discovering South Texas Wildlife".
I was raised in South Texas and introduced to the outdoors by a father who was an avid hunter. I still live there today so a great portion of my portfolio is in the Texas brush country. However, my portfolio is ever expanding and now consists of photos from Colorado, Arizona, Alabama, the Midwest, and Venezuela.
I use Canon digital SLR's and lenses to capture my images. Just as my father taught me to see the brush country for the first time, the camera has taught me to see it again with a new set of eyes…and it is more beautiful than ever!
